This December, Stourbridge Social is thrilled to host a truly special festive event as one of the UK’s most exciting young bands, Split Second, bring their Christmas Extravaganza to the venue on 22nd December 2025. Designed for music lovers of all ages, this all-ages show promises an evening filled with high-energy live music, festive atmosphere, and a chance to see a nationally rising band in an intimate, up-close setting.
Split Second, aged 17–19, have become one of Britain’s standout emerging indie pop acts. With an extraordinary 420K followers across social media, they’ve built a dedicated, fast-growing fanbase and established themselves as a band with genuine national momentum. Their sound blends punchy, guitar-driven energy inspired by Oasis and the Red Hot Chili Peppers with the melodic presence and dual vocals reminiscent of Blondie and Fleetwood Mac. Their music is catchy, heartfelt, energetic and instantly connects with live audiences of all ages.
The band’s breakout single “Love Life Cycle” earned widespread attention after being featured on ITV’s This Morning and championed by BBC Introducing, helping propel Split Second into the national spotlight. Since then, their recent releases have been played by John Kennedy on Radio X and Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 6 Music, two of the UK’s most respected tastemakers.
